Née en 1982 Françoise Hillemand ne se destinait pas à la photographie. Elle devait être avocate. Mais entre-temps est née sa passion pour l’image. Photographier est vite devenu un acte nécessaire. Son appareil photo ne la quitte plus.

Discrète et subtile, elle sait capter les atmosphères particulières, saisir les scènes de la vie quotidienne, arrêter le temps, amuser ou bien émouvoir notre âme selon son humeur.
Adepte du courant humaniste, cette artiste enthousiaste à la curiosité insatiable n’hésite pourtant pas à oublier la réalité. L’image devient alors rêve, mouvement, matière vibrante, toile abstraite ou calligraphie …
A travers son œuvre, Françoise Hillemand nous offre « sa vérité » et celui qui regarde ne reste pas indifférent.
